How's it going, I'm Andrew, Right now I'm in college at the University of Massachusetts for Landscape Architecture. I have a 1985 ford f150 which I bought as a good reliable truck, but I want to get into older cars, especially pre-war cars and researching about those brought me to metal shaping. I am amazed at what some of you guys can do and I am really looking for where I can start. I want to know what a beginners tool set should look like (remember I'm a college student, budget is very tight, though there is a good used tool store down the street), what materials can I use to learn(online videos, blogs, dvds, etc), and what projects I should start on which would be good to learn on? Thanks guys, its great to be a member.
