Hi all, my name is Warren, and I'm what you might generously call 'an enthusiastic amateur' when it comes to metal work. I am currently restoring a 1972 Valiant Charger - thats the Australian version not the US Dodge model. I am learning as I go, the welding is getting better as I go. But as I'm a notorious cheap skate I've been manufacturing my own rust repair patches and saving my $$ for the outer replacement panels. I discovered this site by accident and I'm hoping I can learn a few things about metal work that will give me a better finish.
Cheers Warren |

Hey Warren,
Welcome to All Metalshaping, Maybe after learning a few good methods from this site you could buy tools to assist in making the outer rust panel sections instead of buying them! |

Welcome to the madhouse Warren, theres pretty anything you want or need to know about banging on metal. Search for anything and you are pretty much guaranteed to find multiple answers.
Cheers mate Troppo
