Default Newb from norcal

Hey everyone! My name is Carl and I'm from Santa Rosa. I found this site on a google search and I am trying to advance my meager skills. I am currently working full time and I'm in school learning CAD, CAM and manual machining. I have been working with cars and straightening out racecars for a while now both as a hobby and a sidejob and would like to learn some new skills for the '29 chevy coupe I picked up.

sooo, here I am.

Hi Carl,

Welcome to the site. I'm close by you in Novato. I to am a beginner metalshaper and have found this site to be an invaluable resource. Ask questions and search around the site, there's a lifetimes worth of information, tips, tricks and pics.

Ken

Thank you for the warm reception. I plan to spend, at the very least, a few weeks browsing through the various forums just reading.

here is a crappy cellphone picture of the coupe. My workspace is also considerably more organized now.
