Default Norway calling.

Hello,

My current project is a 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider.
It was much worse than I imagined with panels some places patched by small pieces just bent to shape (sort of). Then covered with about one barrel of bondo!

So I have to recreate a lot of intricate shapes. Although I have been doing some metalshaping through the years, this is really being thrown into deep waters! But I can be stubborn. Very stubborn, and luckily have the patience to do a panel again and again until I get it right.

I am also a toolaholic. But often resort to a BFH and a stump. It can at times be very effective in shaping as well as getting out frustrations. ;-)

Einar, welcome, glad to have you as a new member. Post some pictures as you make panels for the Alfa.

Great.. An O.C.D. Toolaholic.. You'll fit right in!

Have no fear regarding the Alfa. I've been in over my head since day one, and have had to do everything twice, sometimes four or five times, just to undo the damage from the first attempts.
