Default Fresh from Wisconsin... new guy

Greetings!

My name is Traves Coppock, but friends call me "Fiddy"

i was invited here by route56wingnut. he is, as most of you know, hosting a metal shaping meet this spring in MN, and peaked my interest in possibly going.

i was a truck driver for many many years, logging over 2.5 million miles before a work back injury ended my career short.
my hobbies are 50's custom cars, traditional hot rodding and i am also a woodworker (sometimes handy in metal shaping i'm told)... i run a small, repeat, SMALL shop making tipping dies for the harbor freight bead roller and similar rollers. i am working on several body line and reveal dies, but nothing ready for the public as of now...

i've signed up here to learn more about shaping metal, making it do what i want it to do, and understanding HOW and WHY metal behaves as it does. my ultimate goal would be to hand form a phaeton body for my wifes hot rod!

i look forward to learning all i can from the master metal shapers here on this site!

Thanks!
Traves

Welcome, from Brillion.
I also joined this site not too long ago & there is a lot of good info on here.
I may be interested in some dies, as i'm looking for a new bead-roller.
