Hi,

I've recently taken up the hobby of scratchbuilding automobiles from brass (actually Hot Rods). Not surprisingly there where many new skills I needed to learn. The one I was most concerned about was forming sheet metal, brass and copper in my case. I was reluctant to join some other sites, but I noticed you have a forum on model projects so I'm think I may have found the right place.

Just prior to signing up I was working on (beating to death) yet another piece of brass that starts out nice and shinny, and flat, and ends up crumppled, burnt, but still pretty flat.
So you now can see where I'm at when it comes to this, but I'm more than willing to listen if you're willing to point the way.

Thanks
Bill Brehm
