Default Hey there....my name is Jennifer

and I live in WV. I am completely green when it comes to working with metal (in any aspect) but I'm a quick study. I am an avid DIYer (except for electric...I know my limits) and I'm never afraid to get my hands dirty. There have been lots of projects I've wanted to bring to fruition over the years but never really crossed paths with anyone who had the knowledge, skill, AND time. So thats why I'm here...to surround myself with creative/skilled people who also have a sense of community, in that, they like to share their knowledge with others. I learned about GatorMeet after reading about it in last years newspaper and was quite intrigued so I'm looking forward to being a proverbial fly on the wall and just soak up as much as possible when I'm there...I don't really know what to expect so hopefully I won't be the only newbie there.

See you at Gatormeet Jenn. I met Gator briefly at Fay Butler's Hershey table last year and he's a great guy who possesses a wealth of knowledge he's willing to share. You mention the word "community" and that is truly what you'll find here.

If you haven't thought of it already, remember to bring things like gloves, goggles, and welding helmets.
