Hello to you all,
My name is Tim Jones (from South Wales, United Kingdom) and I am currently preparing a UK spec Vauxhall Chevette for rallying. I have a huge amount of bodywork to complete. Many of the body panels are no longer available so I am looking to remake these from scratch, the main one being a complete new floor. I will be looking for advice on what tools and processes are best for different tasks. I look forward to discussing these with you. Regards Tim

Hi Tim,
Your project sounds fun! I taught myself to weld on my first car, a Vauxhall Chevette saloon  That was back in the early 90s and parts were starting to dry up even then.There are a few Chevette owners over on Retrorides too. Welcome aboard!
