Default New to the Forum

Hi, my name is Adam and I am new to this forum, but not new to forums by any means. About 2 years ago I became interested in Remote Control scale rock crawling. I have joined multiple forums for this hobby. I have even started to build members for a club in my area.

Since becoming involved I have found that in the winter months I really enjoy building the crawlers more than driving them. This could be due to the snow in northwest PA. This forum is meant to be an off shoot of that hobby. I am planning on building a new crawler from the ground up. Full ladder frame, custom leaf springs, and most of all an entirely metal body.

I am planning to use the site as a way to gain knowledge with forming metal and to gain an education into the types of tools that will be necessary for me to be successful. I have experience creating sheet metal replacement panels for my vehicles in the past, but nothing as intricate as I will be attempting. I am not looking for high dollar machinery, but more into the art of using a hammer and some very simple hand tools to shape the metal into the shape that I am looking for.

Hopefullly I will find this forum as usefull and informative as the others that I have joined. I look forward to being a part of the AllMetalShaping community.
