Default Pat Pryor from NJ

Hi my name is Pat I am 26 and from east Brunswick New jersey. I have been teaching myself metal shaping since I was 15, Ive always made stuff for myself since a very young age. The older I got the more complex it got. At 15 I started hand forming sheet metal, just making simple stuff like motorcycle gas tanks and whatever else I could do to customize a mini bike, with just a hammer, railroad tie, and bag of sand. With no one to learn from and no books to be found I had to learn the hard way. Now at 26 I have quite a few metal shaping accomplishments under my belt and am at the point were I do nice enough work to take on customer work. A little over a year ago I quit my job working on tugboats and started a business called JerseyMetalShaping, mainly I build hot rods and do rust repair or whatever I can do to pay the bills, but I take on some really cool metal shaping jobs as well. My tools are still pretty basic nothing fancy yet. I found this website on a Google search. This site looks like a good place to learn some new tricks. I like to think of metal shaping as a practice no matter how long you have been doing it you never know it all. I will post some pics later of my Hand formed Model A coupe body and my hand formed 32 roadster body which is a half finished project and some other stuff Ive made from sheet metal. If anyone of you belong to the H.A.M.B. you may already know my work.

also I'm teaching myself oxy acetylene welding aluminum if anyone has a good link to a post on here or else where. Thanks
