Default Metal Head from NC

Hello to all. My name is Mike, and I have been a metal fabricator for the last (hate to say it) 25 years. I got my start as an Structure Repair Tech. in the USAF. I have worked on mainly fighter aircraft (F-4, F-15, F-16) at field level, and Depot levels. I since have been working in a shop as a R+D Metal Fabricator where I get to do almost everything from Laser cutting, to TIG welding, and CNC Mills, lathes, and tube bending. I play with old Mustangs for a hobby, and love to work with metal. Looks like a great forum to be apart of. Hopefully get to know a few of you and learn / share fun things to do with metal.

Welcome Mike. It seems like we're getting quite a few people from North Carolina here. I'm in Winston-Salem.

Welcome, Looks like we are getting a following from North Carolina.
Great information, advice, and techniques here.

I'm from Raleigh, NC.
Where in NC are you located?

Maybe someday we can have an NC Metal working meet.

Dave
