Default Fordman checking in

Yeah this is Steve. I am in Minnesota and I love working on old cars/trucks/snowmobiles. I have started to do more of the metalwork/bodywork on my own, so I thought I would join up to see the interesting stuff you pros do.

I used to race Fords, and it was often the case where I took a 'First On Race Day' car to the track, but brought a 'Fix Or Repair Daily' home.

Steve,

Welcome to the group, lots of good information.

I like the possibilities of seeing a custom snowmobile body in aluminum..

Rick, It may be "Fix Or..." or as Steve suggests "First..." but I once got a Galaxy with a signed title on the seat, "Found On Road Dead". After a tune up, battery, and oil change I drove it home, then changed the valve stem seals and gave it away as a wonderful car 3 years and 40 thousand miles later.

I seem to remember swapping the cam gear also. That'll kill a car (if you've no mechanical skills).
