Default Hello from Germany

Good day to all those metal basher out there...

Just a short introduction of myself:
After a long time of studying and wasting time in other ways, I can call myself a panel beater by trade.
I passed my apprenticeship at a german hearse company, where we built (stretched, rebodied and fitted the inside of different brands) and went from there to different restauration shops.
For now I'm working at the production line of a german car manufacturer, without any shaping for me to do. So, currently I'm stocking up tools and looking for a workshop to get back in to the "hands on" panel beating.
I hope that some day there will be a european/german metal meet, in which i'd loooove to participate.
So much for now, feel free to ask anything further.

Jens

Default Thanks for the welcome

Thank you, it's nice to see such a well known member's greetings...

I've just followed up a few of your post and would like to know, if there's some kind of schedule for your classes and if I could join...

Hi Jens,

Nice to see another Kraut here.
Where do You come from in Germany? A german or maybe dutch meeting would be great. I am next to the dutch border.

Regards, Jens

Hi Jens,

I'm working in the homeland of the automobile and living just shy from the black forrest. If someone ever wants to visit one of the museums around here, just give me a heads up.

Jens,

Welcome to the forum.

A couple of questions:
In your profile you list an interest in "wood gas". what is that?

And your forum name "Blechpatscher"; I look up "Blech" and "Patsch" in the German/English dictionary and am confused. Is there a story behind the screen name you use?
