Default intro from john marcus re:HARPOON

Hi from los angeles.....i have been involved with metal shaping from 2000.
Taken classes from fournier and covell......got advice from kent white and have have built my own equipmet e-wheels, lipton helve hammer and a couple of air hammers. Other major equipment includes a pullmax, three ring roller, large slip roller and assorted gas and welding equipment.

In the old days i hung out on another forum with terry(rip) and kerry and many other talented folks.

Currently i am working on the HARPOON a V10 track roadster which don varner designed for me inspired by the allen roadster which moal built. I started this project some time ago and have the mechanical nearly complete. It will be bodied in 063 3003 which i am now starting to work on after a several year rest

Other activities include knife making, machine shop, welding and gumtoogi.

Hi John, I remember you from the old MetalShapers Association (MSA) site. If I recall correctly you held the first ever metal shaping event at your home back in 2000 or so.

Definitely looking forward to photos of Harpoon. We LIKE photos.

looks like some really fun shapes involved there! I like the reverse down at the bottom of the hood sides!
