Default Avid Learner from Australia

Just a bit of an intro and why I'm here. I'm a 2nd going 3rd year (in February) apprentice boilermaker/welder. Majority of the work/forming I do is 10mm+ FCAW/MMAW or GTAW.

Until about 2 weeks ago I was convinced I wanted to deal mainly in welding however I am currently enjoying the fabrication side a lot more.

At trade school over the last 2 weeks I made a pot belly stove and from 3mm-5mm M/S and I impressed myself and am really pleased with how it came out. Because of the success with the pot belly stove (forming cones / square to rounds) I have been spending a lot of my time watching instructional/reading about metal forming.

It's something I want to learn in my own time and invest time and money into

I have a few projects on the go and I hope this forum can help me in getting them done properly

I'm here to learn as much as I can and hopefully offer some advice

Cheers Josh
