Default Just joined. Hello

Hello
My name is Sri and I live just outside of Milwaukee , Wis.

I first dabbled in metal shaping when I was around 8 or 9.

I like working with my hands and building things out of raw materials. At the moment I have metal working machines like Lathes , Mills, grinders etc.. but no metal shaping tools.

Metal shaping/forming is something I am quite interested in and would like to learn / get hands on expereince.

I have been interested in building custom bikes and old school fenderless hot rods since I was a kid. Metal shaping expereince will be a necessity, plus I know I will enjoy just the process itself. I am also very interest and excited about quality tools and equipment.

Thanks for the welcome all.

I have been reading metal shaping forums for a couple of years now . I decided to join after a guy I met (forgot his name) at a Missouri auction suggested this site. He is a member here and makes jaws for the Marchant shrinker/stretchers. The auction I was at had 2 Marchants and 2 Eckold hand operated shrinker/stretchers.
