Hello everyone! I've been reading and learning from you posts for months now and I only thought it right to register and introduce myself. I work as a Master Harley-Davidson technician/Dyno tuner and have recently decided to revive my longtime dream of becoming a proficient metal shaper. Niavely, I thought metalshaping came with the territory of becoming a Harley Mechanic (I blame Discovery Channel) but here I am 14 years later still bolting on parts other people think look cool. In the last 6 months or so, I've been rapidly acquiring metal shaping tools, books, videos and a nice TIG welder (oh yeah, I'm teaching myself TIG welding as well). So far I've managed to make a bunch of scrap but learn new things with each and every failure. Although, I feel I quickly become and decent (read novice) welder. I've also construced my first buck, not perfectly symetrical but I'm happy with it for my first try. I'll try to post pictures of said abominations in the future including my mostly bowl shaped bowl.
I look foward to learning even more from you gentelmen! Thank you.
