Hi all

I am restoring a Fiat 1500 MK1 and upgrading with later model Fiat 125 running gear. I have a Fiat 124 sedan that I have raced for about three years now.

Both these cars require some metalworking so hopefully I can learn the skills needed from this site.
I have a limited workshop but try anything once.

David

Hi David

Welcome to the forum. Great to see another Fiat nut on here. Unfortunately our cars are sometimes the victims of dodgy repairs, so it's great to see someone wanting to improve their skill set and apply it to a Fiat! There is a wealth of information on this site and lots of generous and crazily talented people willing to share.
Good luck and don't give up when you start making scrap steel!

Peter

Thanks Peter
The car I have is like a barn find as in totally unmolested and original so I am very lucky to have a good starting point. Very little to no rust but lots of dings in panels and the stainless trim.
I'm finding lots of great info already here

Hi David and Welcome.
I'm in Ulladulla so not very far from you at all. Any questions, or if you want to call in at anytime give me a yell.
Cheers John

I love the work being done here and obviously have a lot to learn.

I wish I got onto this earlier and was able to plan for the catchup weekend happening this weekend but unfortunately will be working.
