Default New guy from eastern PA

Hello all, been lurking here for a while and am amazed how friendly everyone seems here, been to other bulletin boards that are way more hostile, which absolutely sucks.

I was into metal shaping and welding a while back, but got out of it due to work, and other time and money constraints. I now have the time and a few extra bucks to get back into and this site has really sparked my interest again.

My first project is going to be building an english wheel using all the information Kerry Pinkerton so graciously posted. I have all my metal and parts (using HF wheels for the time being) and will try to take pics during the construction process to post. Just want to thank all of you guys for sharing your wealth of knowledge and helping guys like me be able to learn from so many different points of view.

Default Gator Meet in MD

Matt,

Gator's Regional MetalMeet in Adamstown MD is this weekend. This is just south of Frederick. Fri, Sat, and Sun. And Kerry Pinkerton is supposed to be there too. See the thread under events. A bit of a drive but you could camp there.
