Hey all.
I guess I have a pretty standard background: I've been into cars for about 20 years and have done a bit of rebuilding, but never tackled the bodywork myself. I'm in the middle of restoring a 65 Sunbeam Tiger, and it will need a couple of patches on the body and frame. I figured I might as well learn the skills and gather the tools to do it myself. Ask me in a few years if that was the right strategy... I'm in Athens, Georgia. Danny |

Danny, welcome, hope you enjoy the site and learn what you need to repair the Sunbeam Tiger. They are nice cars and very fast. When I was in the service a friend of mind asked me to look at his because the Vettes were starting to beat him. Tuned it up and got the carb working correctly he said it ran better that it had before. Thanks for joining us.

Welcome aboard Danny!
Sunbeam Tiger....wasn't that Maxwell Smart's ride back in the 60's? Be sure to post some pics, I always liked those cars. ![]() Ken

Service with Uncle Sam and Tigers seems to be a common thread. I fell in love with Tigers and did all of my research on them back when I was a civilian US Govt. employee in Afghanistan, and bought the project after getting home.
It was indeed what Maxwell Smart drove. None of my shoes have phone service, however. Danny |

The Sunbeam will be a very rewarding project. Don't have a phone in my shoe either.

Welcome!
We like cars, period. Sunbeams are up there in the "cool car to restore" category, so post pics and ask questions.

Welcome to the board Danny. That's a cool buggy you've got there, look forward to seeing it.
