New guy from Indiana
I am new to this board, I don't know how I missed it for so long. I am a retired Tool & Die Maker and I have my own shop at home now. I have been making aluminum hoods for hot rods at my home shop for about 30 years now and I am ready to retire from that too. It seems that my list of projects keeps getting longer and longer, so I have to start finishing some of them. I have been interested in metalshaping for quite a while and been to Ron Fournier and Faye Butler's classes. Being an old toolmaker I am really interested in building my own equipment. I have an English wheel, 2 planishing hammers, brakes, shears, punches, louver press, bead roller, hammers and slappers, shot bag, slip roll, along with machine shop equipment. I hope I don't sound like I am boasting but I have been collecting this stuff for about 50 years. I just finished a frame jig for 32 Fords, I cannot believe I went without this for all these years. Next I want to build a reciprocating hammer.
