Default Newbie here in Portland, OR

Hi guys, Im Eddie.

I live in Sherwood, OR (for those unfamiliar, it gets lumped in with Portland Oregon)

Im a hobbyist woodworker and woodturner but very intriqued at the idea of shaping metal as well.
Recently I purchased a very heavy duty wood lathe that should be able to stand the stresses of metal spinning.

I have a '54 Chevy Pickup project truck that could really benefit from learning the trade.

Happy to be here, and excited to learn
