Hi all,
Ive been interested in metal shaping for a long time, but with recent work load's etc I have not had the time to do anything about it.
Ive luckily found myself in the position of having a bit more time, so it's time to check out what other's are doing and hopefully pick up some good tip's from other people's experience's.
Im sure that when I'm able to get myself properly logged in I'll spend a good few hour's checking out people's post, and then hopefully add some thing's myself. Once I start, take it easy on me, as I am a complete novice and new starter.

My Mom was born there too but 'suburb' is not quite how to describe 'bonny Walker' :-)

Hi Brett, we're learning all the time so don't think yourself as a novice, look at some of the classes going on in the States, you will see a good proportion of the participants are long term craftsman.

Get your head around posting photos early on it's important photo/1000 words.

Hi, thank you all for the welcome's.

kjc, I know Walker well. It's a few mile's from my home location but is a handy area to visit as I occasionally use a few companies there for blasting,powdercoating and welding supplies.
Falang, Ive never heard the term, "Bonny Walker". Im sure that there must be somewhere in Walker that could be described as bonny, but I dont know where it is.
But bonny or not,it's cool to hear that people spread out over the World have heard of the area that I live in.
I was a bit short on time last night when I registered so kept the detail's short.
I have a couple of bike build's sitting in my home workshop, neither really needing metalshaping, but I do have a chopper project tucked away for a future build. That will need a few bit's made, so I will watch and learn from all you fabricator's.
Today I am having a massive clear out of junk from my workshop. I'm going to get the place cleaned up, painted white, partially rewired to add better lighting,insulated to keep the heat in, and then as the cold dark night's start here I will have somewhere to hide as my wife watches all her television show's of an evening.
That's exactly where I'm going now,so thank's again for the welcome's.
