Default Royce from Northern Utah

I am a third generation body and paint guy. I grew up working with my dad and grandpa in a small shop between their houses. I went to school and am now a mechanical engineer. I have a small shop behind my house that I have been filling with tools and continually working on improving my capabilities and the quality of my work. Thanks to the internet I have realized the differences between a metal shaper and a body man. I am fascinated with metal shaping and will continue to push myself in that direction.

Within the last couple of years I have finished a fairly wild custom 55 F100 that was my grandpa's that he chopped around 1962 and then was my dads in high school and then tore apart in the late 70's and sat ever since until now.

After that my arm was twisted enough to do a handful of vehicles for customers. Now that all those are behind me I am dedicating time to finishing my own projects again and working on my metal shaping skills.

Currently building a chopped 51 merc coupe and also have a chopped 40 ford COE in the shop that gets a little attention every once and a while.

I look forward to contributing to this forum.
