Hi there,I’m Ron. I’m retired and have a passion for metal working and car building in general. I was raised in a bodyshop and spent many hours as a broom monkey before being old enough to develope an interest in the process of repair. Right out of high school, I started working for a truck manufacturer (Pacific Truck and Trailer) where I furthered my skills in metalwork and mechanics. I spent many years as a ligging truck mechanic and welder before retiring as an insurance material damage estimator. In the 12 years since retirement, i have worked in my home shop on my 1936 and 1934 Ford Coupes.
I look forward to learning everything I can in this site, always hungry for new techniques to furthet my metal shaping skills.
