Hi everyone,

I have finally bitten the bullet after years of hesitating and have bought an english wheel, planishing hammer and shrinker stretcher to start metal shaping properly as well as a few hand tools.

I am currently restoring a 56' Series One Land Rover amongst other projects (mainly flat panels so not much need for the english wheel on this project). Am hoping to learn a lot from this forum to allow me to start trying to make repair panels myself and one day make some fairings and tanks from scratch for some of my old motorbikes and replacement panels for my 1970s Formula Vee Race car.

Cheers

Justin
