Default Intro

Hi there, I’m new to the site ad wanted to introduce myself so I gain access to try and figure out some things about my 12” CP hammer. Already found some info on a sticking piston which sounds like it’s a lubrication issue! I have a cheap regulator set up currently and would like to see how some folks are running theirs? I’m currently not using the upright post on the pedestal for an air chamber but I would like to get that set up. I’m also missing a small piece on the horizontal tube just behind the air motor that I believe is a fine adjustment knob? Mine just has a bolt plugging it and I’d love to find out what is supposed to be there and weather or not it’s necessary, along with the correct thread pitch in case mine has been tapped for this mystery bolt? Nice to see so much information on these old tools. I’ve had my hammer for about 10 years and it’s always worked how I have it, just doesn’t feel quite dialed in to its full potential. Thanks , Dylan
