Default Hello from Oregon

Hi all,
My nane is art, I come to this forum almost every day.
I have a background in machining, and have been sef employed doing metal fabrication since 1983.
I have been active in racing, both as a driver and a car builder for over 37 years. Most of my racing experiance has been with formula cars and sports cars that use fiberglass bodies. Therefor I'm much better at repairing fiberglas then shaping sheet metal. So when it comes to hot rods, I've always considered my self more of a chassis man then a body man.
All of you folks have inspired me to start on a street rod project I've had in my head for about 15 years. It will be the first hot rod I've built for my self.
I have built an Eglish Wheel, a Planishing Hammer, and a Halve Hammer, all with your "help". Thank you very much. As soon as I clear my frame table of the project that's on it now, I'm going to start on my frame. Then will come the hard part, the body. So I may be asking for help in the future. Thanks again for all of your help.

Welcome Art!
If you have any questions the 1st place to look is the search button.
If you can't find your answer then , just ask away!
Good Luck with your first Street Rod!
