Hello World . Im the new guy ...

Im IvikingD1 , yes I still panel beat and yes I can make and fit panels, it was part of my apprenticeship . here in the uk we used to have to go to a place called Thatchams to take a skills test to be considered a qualified panel beater. Obviously as im so old that...... really ......that was back in the day . I think I completed that whole Thatchams skills thing around a million years ago .
I now have a very very nice shotbag, a shrinker stretcher which is hand operated and a big F.J. Edwards Electric Bead roller. A mass of hammers and Dollies , lots of welding machines . two spot welders . a cnc router or two etc . And I paint for my sins . Devilbiss pressure pot for Choo choos , and Devilbiss guns generally .

I repair trains in the week and they pay me and actually say im good at it . Well sometimes .
I was on call 24/7 probably for the last 100 years which could be why im divorced , But you should find me .... chilling in a depot or running shed somewhere in the uk still and I have definately ... lived the dream for donkeys years and I consider myself very very lucky to have done so ,
but im definately chilling this week. Im sort of trying decide when to build a mechammer . And a new stump . it is what it is .
I do actually know a guy who is on here, hes from Downham Market or Denver Uk and he asked me to join two years ago ..... hopefully hes on here still . I would love to catch up . Ive been working in Huddersfield Leeds and Manchester for a good couple or three years. So ive not been back to Norfolk ....!!!!! anyway .

Welcome Sean, to a great forum. i used to have a garage in Stockport Nr Manchester in the late 60s/70s.
