Hello from Upstate Ny
Just stumbled onto this site, looking for ways to better my self at metal working. Glad that I found it! I work at a small laser chop shop and program customers parts and run the machines for a living, and its a good living lol. I want to better master metal than to just program and cut shapes out of it.

Funny that Roy, I have been shaping metal for the last thirty odd years and now I am trying to learn how to use a CNC plasma cutting table (more for my own amusement than anything at this stage).... Perhaps we should get together and exchange our knowledge!

I also have a blunted cold chisel for creasing and a line in my stump for creasing oh and a 3000w laser.... I have so much to learn and am currently working on a great helm for fun. Looks like crap but its my first project. I also have been putting shape to scrap 20 gauge for practice. It looks like I am on the right path to learning something or making a fool of my self im sure its a 50/50 chance lol. Roy
