Default Rich from North Texas

I am a complete novice at this - metal shaping. I've read books on the subject for years but never taken the step to actually try the craft. I would like to make some modifications to a motorcycle gas tank - hence my joining the forum. I do not plan to make this a career but would like to acquire some skills and additional knowledge about the craft. If I ask a stupid question I ask for your forgiveness in advance.

Rich,
I know exactly where it is. Would you be interested in attending a little metal shaping gathering over in Granbury sometime this spring?
Peace,
Chaz
