Default Steve from troy, ny

Hey guys my name is steve and I'm from troy, ny. I stumbled onto this site today while researching a paper on harry a. miller and his dominant race car/engine dynasty that began around 1915 and lived on until around 1970 through offenhauser and drake-meyer engines which were descended from the original miller designs. This paper is the last thing I need to finish before graduating with associates in both auto tech service(mechanical) and autobody. The thread I found seems to have a cad drawing of a harry miller radiator shell and I would love to try making one as soon as I have a little free time but I had to register to see the drawing. I also have a 1967 2 door lincoln continental that I'd like to try chopping the top on this summer. I bought a couple of how to books on top chopping and there seems to be a number of different ways to go about it so I figured this could potentially be an additional source of information to help me with that as well. Thanks and I'll try not to bug you guys too much

Hi Steve,

I'm sure if you get the plans there are enough guys in our area that can help you put that together. Also pick up David Gardners DVD on metal shaping, it will give you a lot of insight and save you time.
