Default Hello from Kansas

Hello, my name is Chad. I'm a Mechanical Engineer in Kansas. Currently I am working on a KR200 Messerschmitt for a friend. I purchased a HF bead roller (and had to beef it up of course) to replace the floor pans in the Messerschmitt. Looking for more information on bead roller mods and would like to make my own dies.

Chad, welcome and thanks for the introduction. Lots of information here to help you with the floor project. If you have questions just ask and someone will help you. Thanks for joining us.

Hi and welcome Chad,

I'm down the interstate from you about 90 miles, but go to Salina often. Matter of fact I lived there for many years.

I had to google the KR200 Messerschmitt, but after seeing pics, I remembered it. My wife would like it.

If you've got a metal lathe, the dies are easily done. I've made a bunch of dies for my modified HF bead roller over the years.
