Greetings!
"Necessity is the mother of invention" My mother must have quoted those famous words from Platos The Republic a million times while I was growing up. Life on a small working farm, in a poor rural community, was only made possible through that philosophy. If you didn't have something you needed, then you created something from what you had available to make it work. This environment breeds an interesting form of creativity that grows from necessity. Making the most out of the least is the soil that my creativity grows in. And for me metal shaping is a perfect venue to flex my creativity and force it to grow.

Hello Tim, welcome to the forum, I use the same quote myself. You can make almost anything without spending a fortune on machines. Most things just require a bit of thinking through and imagination once you have some basic skills.
