Hi everyone,
New to the site and looking for information on metal forming. I am an aircraft mechanic and have been working with sheet metal and repairing aircraft structures for the last 26 years. Although I haven't had any real formal training in metal forming I have always been able to produce the results I was looking for (probably with more time, work and aggravation than needed). I am looking to do some projects that will go beyond what I have worked before and I look foward to any insight that members of metal shaping can provide. I am looking for tooling plans on power hammers and recipocating machines. Cheers, Paul J

Hi Paul and welcome to the forum. While large machines will shape metal quickly they will not do everything. Learning hand skills is where everyone should start. I use large machines but I use basic hand skills on every job I do.
