Default Hello from West Michigan!

Hi, my name is Dick and I found this site looking for information on bead rollers. I have been working on cars and boats all my life. My latested project is in it's final stages of working the bugs out. It is a 28' Checkmate with a Procharged BBC motor. I have been having some issues with the intercooler tubing seperating at the joints. I am planning on switching to stainless steel and rolling some beads on the ends to help eliminate the problem.
I am looking for information on bead rollers. I am looking for a good base to start with and possibly modify it to fit my needs. So I found this forum and decided to join. I also have a 65 Olds 442 that I have owned for over 42yrs. At some point it will need sheet metal work. I covered a lot sins back years ago with plastic and it is starting to show. What better place to find info on bead rollers and how to create lower quarter panels for my 65, when I am willing an able to tackle that job!!
I look forward to learning a lot on this forum.
Thanks!
Dick

Thanks Andy, I will do that. I took a look at the Event Calendar, but it doesn't tell me much. It would probably help if I Knew how to use it.
I will give you a call first chance I get!!

I picked up a HF special today, gave it a quick try on some aluminum tubing.. It needs work and I need practice, but it is encouraging, that I can do this myself!!

Thanks!
Dick
