Default Introduction

My name is Jimmy Hervatin from Missouri. I have a precision sheet metal fabrication shop I work in every day. I went to school to be a aircraft mechanic, did that for 3 years. I taught myself autobody repair while I was doing that. I worked in bodyshops for four years. I started metal fabrication while I was working at the bodyshop. I got so busy doing fab work. I quit the bodyshop and worked for myself ever since. (Last 25 yrs)
I took some seminars from Scott Knight,Ron Fournier,Ron Covell, & Fay Butler. Over time I brought a lot of shaping equipment. I think I was the 1st person to build a double headed Yoder look a like. Pictures in the Advance Sheet Metal book. My favorite cars are hotrods and kustoms off the forty & fifty's. I am the guys that built the aluminum model A pickup off of Keith Weesner's artwork. Won the 2010 Streetrodder Top 100 grand prize that year. Currently working on another Weesner drawing called Lit-Up (chopped, sectioned, channeled 51 Ford F-1.

Welcome to AllMetalShaping Jimmy. We met at Frog Follies back around 2003-4. My son and I were in the vendor area selling our ewheels.

Looking forward to seeing some of your work. Pictures, we LIKE pictures...especially start to finish shaping projects.

Are you still in the power hammer business? We've had several folks ask about sources and or parts.
