Welcome to AllMetalShaping Casey. Glad you found us.

Wow, that is an amazing aircraft. At first I thought it was a P38 but the twin mustang is amazing! What a monster it must have been! I was honored to see Glacier Girl at SunNFun the first year it was flying again. Brought tears to my eyes.

For those who don't know, Glacier Girl was a P38 that crash landed on a glacier in Greenland toward the end of WWII. Lost for decades, it was found, recovered, and restored by some amazing and dedicated craftsman. The Twin Mustang will be at least as impressive and even more rare.

Casey,

Did you used to work at VPC?

Also, what's your shop's policy on walk-in visitors?

Thanks,

Welcome Casey, Found the site on the XP 82 a couple weeks ago and read that you were working on that project.
When school is out for the summer, my Grandson and I plan on making the trip down to see the progress.
Glad that you joined us, Dan

I'm very happy to see Walt Soplata's airplanes being restored. I visited his place about 35 years ago and saw the collection first hand. I thought it a shame they weren't being better cared for.
