Default Howdy from the beach

Hi all, my name's Dave from Ventura, CA. I'm a mechanical engineer by day, and have been learning to fabricate and shape metal on the side for a build I'm doing of a 1962 IH Scout 80. I am doing every bit of work on the truck myself, learning and improving along the way. Its a great contrast for me to be able to come home from a day spent designing on the computer, and just be able to create something in the garage with my hands.

Hoping I can learn a lot from this group, and contribute when I can.
