Default Evening

Howdy everyone,

Just joined the group as I am interested in 1/8 to 1/12 scale metal model construction. Primarily early 1900 Grand Prix race cars. I am a computer engineer by trade and have a small metal shop with milling machines, lathes, a metal shaper and metal planer as well as some small scale pattern making/foundry abilities (aluminum and bronze).

Looking forward to browsing the site and seeing what projects everyone is working on.

Lastly, I maintain and drive a '30 Model A Coupe which I drive about 5K per year. She's not perfect, but she's not a trailer queen either.

By the way, my location is Maple Valley, WA if there are like minded individuals in the area.

Welcome Laurence

There are a few of us up in your area.
I'm up near Everett, when I'm in America.

Cheers

Hi Laurence
I'm from Portland. Looking forward to seeing some of your work. What scale do you work in?
